Melissa Sweet can turn a box of watercolors
into an entire world. Her small birds, bats, bugs and other creatures are
soft and sweet and bold and adventurous all at once. Her most recent artwork
appears in The Boy Who Drew Birds. Melissa, being the gal who draws birds,
was asked to illustrate this story about John James Audubon. Join us at
the Lunch Box as Melissa explains the importance of illustration in the
history of conservation and helps us start our own bird watching journal.
