In remembrance of the US bombing of the Japanese
cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, weíre showing this autobiographical Japanese
anime film. It tells the story of a young boy who survives the Hiroshima
bombing. The film is based on a book of the same nameóone of the Gen series,
a classic anti-war manga written and drawn by Hiroshima survivor Keiji
