Exhibition of a large-scale, digitally-derived prints by Craig Becker and Wendy Savage. Craig Becker manipulates and explodes explicit web images revealing and obscuring issues about their subjects and the visual aesthetic of the information age. Wendy Savage's complex, spatial works are created with archetypes that signify the axis mundi. The vast space of her intricately detailed surfaces simultaneously depict chaos and order. Installation and performance by rudy, a collaborative media performance collective from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. "Burned In" is a collaborative, electronic media installation and performance. This event combines elements from performance, installation, and media art. It uses video projection, live performance, sound, and live video mixing. It draws from mass media, popular culture, and lived experience. This performance will be repeated the next day at the same time.
