Kitty Critic

Live Performances + Award Ceremony + New Episode Premiere

Ever found yourself ruining a honest and raw performance by one of your favorite musicians by thinking "this is pretty good but where are the cats?" Kitty Critic is the show you were born to watch.  A web series in which musicians perform in their fans' homes for their fans' cats. Kitty Critic combines the earnest intimacy of NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts with the satirical wit of The Daily Show... Plus cats. All episodes are filmed in, and feature musicians from Portland, Maine.  The series is directed by Samuel James, filmed by Jon Reece and hosted by Jim LeJames. Kitty Critic's first live event will include performances from Kenya Hall, Chas Lester, Dana Gross, Cormac Brown, Kate Beever, Sorcha Cribben-Merrill, and Samuel James himself. The night will also include the Kitty Critic Contest Award Ceremony as well as the premiere of the first episode of season two-- not to mention some hard hitting live interviews by host Mr. Jim LeJames.  The night will also serve as a fundraiser for HART - the Homeless Animal Rescue Team.
