Join us for a conversation with Dydine Umunyana about coming together and understanding our shared histories and shared differences. Dydine Umunyana is the author of the book “Embracing Survival” (Genocide and War though the Eyes of a Child).  Ms Umunyana was appointed a youth peace Ambassador in 2013 for the Aegis Trust, an organization dedicated to the prevention of genocide and mass atrocities worldwide.  Subsequently, in 2015, she became a Global Mentor for Peace at Serve to Unite, an organization that cultivates peace through creative service learning and global engagement.

Ms Umunyana is committed to establishing a dialogue between people for understanding their shared histories and culture differences.  Through her writing and public lectures, her goal is to pierce the wall of silence that still pervades much of our society.

You get what you deserve! We’ve added a second screening of Vera Drew’s riotous film The People’s Joker on Sunday, April 21st at 7 pm. Grab tickets now! Saturday’s screening SOLD OUT!
