The final installation of the Portland Music Foundation's "Music as a Profession" series for 2009, this educational seminar will help those interested in recording at home get the best sounds for the buck. With RealTraps' James Lindenschmidttalking about optimizing your space's acoustics, and Eric Bettencourt and Evan Casas showing you how they created the sounds from their recent albums. If you want info about what mic to use, how to place it, the varieties of software and digital/analog recording options available, and everything else that goes into making an album at home, this is the gig for you.
