195 Lewis + Yaani Supreme

195 LEWIS is a dramedy series about a group of women navigating the realities of being Black, queer, and poly in New York City.

We’ll be joined by YAANI SUPREME, co-creator of 195 LEWIS.

Jade Foster aka Yaani Supreme, is committed to making the arts accessible, especially when it comes to the literary arts and queer audiences. Under her national poetry tour, The Revival and subsequent bookstore, she’s galvanized thousands of queer women of color around ‘the word.’ She currently serves on the Mayor’s Advisory Committee for LGBT affairs in Washington DC. Her critically acclaimed works include writing, producing, and/or featuring in critically acclaimed works such as Sekiya Dorsett’s WOMEN AND THE WORD: THE REVIVAL MOVIE, Chanelle Aponte Pearson’s “195 Lewis,” The Artchitects’ THE PECULIAR KIND and forthcoming, Darren Mallet debut short film, BODYMORE.
